Ah, Labor Day! Such a fitting time for a break - after all, what better way to celebrate our hard-working countrymen than a day of pure repose. Still, this holiday isn't all bells, ballgames and barbeques: woven into the fabric of celebrations is the understanding that this fleeting respite marks the unofficial end of summer. From here on the temperatures will only get cooler, the leaves will be less verdant, and the respite of the next long weekend is not until Thanksgiving. After this holiday, most of us face the prospect of a solid few months of work.
